Being snowed-in over the weekend taught me a lot about preparation for the storms of life. There are folk that methodically prepare for life's challenges and then there are those who don't. It's that simple. Now, hear me: there are some things that no one can truly prepare for. However, there are many life-threatening, relationship-threatening situations that can be tempered, endured, or even avoided through proper planning. You see, bad weather is forecast in advance. Don't wait until the storms of life touch down in your area to spring to action and certainly don't blame others for your lack of planning. If you fail to plan, you plan to fail. There are many resources at your disposal. A wise man once said: "If you don't know, you better ask somebody".
"Most people have the will to win, few have the will to prepare to win." - Bobby Knight
"The separation is in the preparation." - Russell Wilson
"Achievement is talent plus preparation." - Malcolm Gladwell
"The fight is won or lost far way from the witnesses, behind the lines, in the gym, and out there on the road; long before I dance under those lights." - Muhammad Ali.
